SSystem adjustments for a major customer always constitute a challenge for IT specialists. For example, the approach for an adjustment within a small company can not be compared with the necessary processes to fulfil that same task for a company with several thousands of workstations. Preparations for extensive implementations might take years, as the current software installation of each workstation has to be scanned and its compatibility with new operating systems or Office versions has to be tested.
We successfully performed many of the necessary steps of such a project, providing specific expertise in MS-Office related tasks.
With most of the Office documents, no difficulties occur. A remaining challenge during migration is Microsoft Access, though. Experience has shown that about 80% of the databases can be migrated by the customer.

- In large companies, Access is often underestimated, and the internal IT is sometimes surprised about the multitude of existing databases
- By order of the IT department, we reconfigure and adjust existing databases so that they meet the predefined requirements of the IT and can be maintained as official solutions
- During the migration processes, we offer ad-hoc extensions or a complete re-engineering of existing databases
- Our support for the customer starts at an early stage and includes the planning processes of a migration.
- Because of time constraints, databases with a large number of users can not be migrated in one step. Therefore we create a hybrid version with an "old" and a "new" front-end to eventually switch to the updated version
